Guangzhou Topo Studio Technology Co., Ltd. (广州拓扑工坊科技有限公司), trading as Topo Studio (拓扑工坊), operates topostudio.cc for a general global audience. This policy explains how we handle personal information when providing website content, understanding website usage and responding to email. Where mandatory rules in your location impose additional requirements, we will handle information in accordance with those applicable requirements.
The website provides information about our studio and products, along with articles. You do not need an account to read public content. Accounts, business data, payments and AI features in applications such as ResumeMeow and AMI are covered by their respective privacy policies. This policy does not authorize sharing personal information across products.

2. Information we handle

We do not need passwords, verification codes, identity documents, full resumes or sensitive information unrelated to an enquiry through this website. Please send only what is needed to address your request and do not disclose someone else’s information without authorization.
We determine the basis for each activity under applicable law. Page delivery and security respond to your request to access the website and protect its operation; email information is used to address a matter you submit; and analytics are limited to operating and improving our own website. Where applicable law requires consent, we rely on the relevant consent. Other applicable bases may include steps taken at your request to enter into or perform a contract, compliance with legal obligations, or legitimate interests recognized by applicable law. Browsing the website does not mean that you consent to every use of personal information.
When you first enter the website at its root address, a browser preference beginning with zh opens the Chinese version by default; all other languages open the English version. If you switch languages manually, that choice is stored only in the local storage of the current browser and is not sent to our servers as a language preference. You can remove it through your browser settings.
3. Website analytics
When you visit a public page, the website automatically runs our self-hosted Umami analytics. The current analytics setup does not set cookies and is not connected to product accounts, product user IDs, custom identity tracking, custom session properties, product business data, advertising or cross-site tracking.
Umami receives information including page URL and title, referrer, hostname, browser language and screen dimensions. On the server, the request IP address and User-Agent are processed to create a session identifier and determine browser, operating system, device category and approximate country or region. These analytics records are not linked to product accounts, email addresses or other identity information, and we cannot use them to directly identify who a visitor is.
We do not currently provide an on-site analytics switch. You may use the privacy contact address to ask a question or make a rights request concerning analytics. Because session identifiers are not linked to names, email addresses or product accounts, we may be unable to locate a particular visit record using identity details alone.

Umami website analytics are processed and stored on Tencent Cloud infrastructure in mainland China. When visitors outside mainland China access the website, the analytics information described in sections 2 and 3 is transmitted to mainland China. EdgeOne content delivery, email transmission and future services may involve other cross-region processing. Where this occurs, we will describe the recipient, purposes, information involved and rights channels, and implement the notices, consent and other safeguards required by applicable law.
We may process or provide information as necessary to comply with legal obligations or lawful requests from competent authorities. New purposes or recipient arrangements require appropriate updated information and applicable procedures; this paragraph does not grant unrestricted authorization.
5. Retention and security
We retain information for the shortest period necessary for its purpose and any applicable retention requirements. Under our standard schedule, detailed Umami analytics are retained for 12 months; reverse-proxy and security logs under our control for 30 days; ordinary support email and attachments for 12 months after the matter is closed; and backups on a 35-day rotation. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or anonymize it to the required standard.
Information may be retained separately to the extent necessary for an unresolved dispute, security incident, legal requirement or lawful protection of rights. We delete or anonymize it when that reason no longer applies. Following a backup restoration, we re-apply applicable deletion rules.
We use access controls, transmission safeguards and other measures appropriate to the information and risks, and handle security incidents as required by applicable law. Internet transmission and storage cannot be guaranteed to be completely secure.
6. Your choices and rights
Contact support@topostudio.cc to request information about processing, access, a copy, correction or deletion of your information, or to withdraw consent where processing relies on it. Other rights apply as provided by applicable law. Withdrawal does not affect the validity of processing based on consent before withdrawal.
Describe the relevant page or correspondence and your request. We may ask for necessary verification information to avoid disclosing information to the wrong person; we do not require a full identity document by default. Our service target is to respond within 15 business days after receiving a complete, verifiable request, or to explain the reason for a delay and the expected completion time. A shorter period required by applicable law takes precedence. We will explain any refusal and available remedies.
We may be unable to locate visit identifiers using a name or email address alone. We will explain available ways to locate relevant information rather than ask for unrelated details to identify visitors. You may also complain to a competent data protection authority.
7. Children and young people
Our content is intended for a general audience. Visitors are not required to provide their age or children’s information. If you are a minor, use the website and contact channels with appropriate guidance from a parent or guardian. Please do not email unnecessary personal information about children. If you believe we have handled information about a minor that should not have been collected, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action. Processing information about children under 14 requires applicable guardian consent and specific protective measures.
8. External links and policy changes
The website links to product applications and other websites. Please read their privacy information when using them; this policy does not comprehensively cover their practices.
When we update this policy, we will show its version and effective date and explain changes that require notice. Where processing requires renewed consent, we will obtain it before that processing begins. An update does not automatically turn an earlier choice into authorization for a new purpose.
The Chinese and English versions are intended to convey the same meaning. Choosing a language does not determine your service region or change your statutory rights. Please contact us if you notice a discrepancy.
